About Creative Connect Africa
A wellness-driven creative empowerment initiative dedicated to advancing mental health support, capacity building, and socio-economic inclusion for creatives across Africa.
Our Story
Creative Connect Africa emerged from a deep understanding of the mental health challenges facing creatives across the continent. Originally incubated under Mind Art Display Studio, we recognized that while Africa's creative sector is bursting with talent and innovation, many artists, musicians, writers, and creative entrepreneurs struggle with mental health issues that often go unaddressed.
As a registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Nigeria, we believe that mental wellness is key to unlocking creative excellence and driving long-term cultural and economic impact across Africa.
Our Philosophy
We believe that inclusive access to wellness tools is critical—which is why our platform, resources, and programs are open to everyone, including students, aspiring artists, and all supporters who align with our mission.
Mental health advocacy shouldn't be a luxury or an afterthought in the creative industry. It should be foundational to how we nurture, develop, and sustain creative talent across Africa.
